Education
I graduated, with honors, from American College of Healthcare Sciences (2024), with my Bachelor’s of Science in Integrative Health Sciences, with Aromatherapy specialization. I also achieved certificates in herbal studies, aromatherapy, and herbal product mfg. I also plan to continue my education and achieve my Master’s and PhD. During my studies I took a deep interest in microbiology when someone close to me was suffering from MRSA for over 12 years, in which 3 of those years, I studied and experimented until I cured it, yes cured it. I used a combination therapy of herbal medicine and western medicine and the treatment plan was 10 weeks. It was at that point when I knew I wanted to heal people. Throughout my journey, I’ve supported many people by addressing imbalances and improving their overall well-being. Most importantly, I focus on preventive care because staying healthy is easier than treating illness later.

Herbal Magic
Throughout my years of studying, I became fascinated with chemistry and how it connects to the natural world. I learned that plants are made up of molecules that also make up the human body and well, the entire world! Crazy right? Everything is everything and “we are made of star dust” – Carl Sagan. Aromatherapy is beneficial because essential oils contain chemicals called volatile organic compounds, or VOCs. These compounds are made of molecules, which in turn are made of atoms. Essential oils are mostly composed of hydrogen and carbon atoms, with some also containing oxygen — and it’s those tiny, chemically bonded molecules that give plants their unique properties. The specific functional group in each molecule influences everything from its odor and solubility to its toxicity and health benefits (Bowles, 2003). Honestly? Learning this completely blew my mind and that’s exactly why I’m sharing with you. I could go on for hours! If you want to learn more, stay tuned. I’ll be using my website as a blog to share everything I know about herbal science, aromatherapy, and so much more.

Fashion
I’ve always been a creatrix, so somewhere along the way I decided that I wanted to make my own clothes. I’ve been shopping at local thrift stores for years to help reduce waste. 9 million tons of clothing and footwear are landfilled in the U.S. each year, according to the EPA (2018). Shopping secondhand can make a huge difference in our precious world. Many of my pieces have been upcycled to give fabric and old clothes a second chance at life. My goal is to create pieces that are as intentional as they are beautiful. As of lately, I have been designing my own patterns, creating costumes for dance performances, and modeling my designs in local fashion shows. I am truly bringing all of my wildest ideas to life and I am so excited to share them all with you.

Dance/Flow Arts
I have been dancing my entire life and I mean that. Since I was a toddler, dancing and singing was one of my favorite things ever. My parents signed me up for dance classes at a young age and I vividly remember my first dance performance, a hip hop number, to the song “Genie in a Bottle,” by Christina Aguilera. As the years went on, I became a trained ballerina, jazz, and hip hop dancer, and one of the top dancers in our company. We competed all over the Midwest and kicked ass. Those were the days. During my teenage years, we moved and my mom couldn’t make the drive anymore. I had to quit and my dreams of dancing professionally were crushed, but I never stopped dancing at home. In 2014, I found flow arts. Randomly one day, a girl I hardly knew asked me if I hula hooped and said she had some hoops for sale if I was interested. That was the day my life changed forever. Flow arts is one of the greatest outlets I have ever experienced. 12 years later and I am not only dancing, but fire performing with my dance troupe that I co-founded, Spellfire Productions. We are amazing and have so many skilled dancers. Our Insta is spellfire_ if you want to check us out!
